Supporting both the physical and emotional health of the primary caregiver ensures that they will continue to care for their

loved one.

Family Caregiver's Network

Caring for an elderly family member or friend can be gratifying. It can also become exhausting. Supporting both the physical and emotional health of the primary caregiver ensures that they will be able to continue to care for their loved one.

Family Caregivers Network provides the encouragement and support needed to empower caregivers. Sooner or later, many of us will require ongoing care ourselves or will provide care for someone else. Education and training are available to both caregivers and volunteers throughout the year.

Monthly support group meets the 3rd Thursday of each month. Respite care is available during this time. Call 507-377-7433 or nancyh@srofc.org for more information.

Respite Service

Respite care for area caregivers provides a volunteer to stay with the care receiver, giving the primary caregiver time to maintain their own emotional and physical health.
