Your gifts are used to support the most in need throughout our community through the integrity and expertise of our committed staff and dedicated volunteers.

Since 1980 Senior Resources of Freeborn County has been a 501(c)3 private nonprofit.  Our mission of providing services that help senior citizens stay in their own homes as long as possible is supported by grants and donations.  Several grants are reoccurring, that is, each year goals and outcomes are updated, and they include Minnesota Board on Aging, Corporation for National and Community Services, SE MN Area Agency on Aging and the United Way of Freeborn County.

These grants are the corner stone of the agency but are not sufficient to meet all the expenses incurred.  Other grants and foundations are researched regularly and are used to support new initiatives.  The City of Albert Lea and Freeborn County do provide support every year.  Donations from clients, their families and others in the community are necessary to help assure that services continue for the thousands of clients that each year rely on our help.

Your gift will:

  • Provide one ride at $34
  • Give one Chore client service at $26.75
  • Help Advocacy provide one support call at $7.15
  • Offer one hour of Caregiver respite at $60

Please give generously and often.  You can trust that your gifts are used to support the most in need throughout our community through the expertise and integrity of committed staff and dedicated volunteer leaders.
